In addition to individual coaching, I also lead workshops, retreats, and group sessions, where individuals can connect with like-minded individuals and grow together in their faith. Remember, with God, all things are possible, and together with me as your Christian Life Coach, you can navigate life’s challenges and thrive in your journey of faith and personal growth. |
I BELIEVE: I believe that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, with unique gifts and purposes.
MY MISSION:
To glorify God in my words and deeds as I guide and encourage others towards Christ to be all that God has created them to be.
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." -Colossians 3:17 |
My unwavering desire to assist others and make a positive impact on their lives has always been a calling from God.Even before embracing my faith in Jesus, I found myself championing the underdogs. Growing up in an unstable home environment as the oldest child, I yearned for trustworthy adults to guide me. Discovering my faith at the age of 15, I began to find solace in knowing that God's love for me would never waver. As I entered adulthood, I still longed for a mentor to navigate life's challenges and decisions. In college, I became involved in campus ministry and also began dating the man who would become my husband. Finally, I started receiving wisdom and truth from older and wiser individuals.

It was my calling...
Joe and I married right before he was to start medical school. I had become a young bride married to a medical student and a mother to three children within the first four years of marriage. I lacked the guidance of older women. I leaned on God and my husband, but often felt like I was figuring things out as I went along. Unbeknownst to me, I had been grappling with depression and anxiety for most of my life, which led to a sense of hopelessness and a lack of self-worth. I frequently pondered my true identity, what God saw in me, and the plans He had for my life. Although I cherished being a wife and mother, participating in church activities, and deepening my understanding of God's Word, I struggled to integrate everything and live a life filled with joy and vibrancy. Instead, I often felt like I was merely surviving from day to day.
As time went on, my family grew, and we were blessed with a total of five children: four daughters and our youngest, a son. As my children and their friends sought advice from me, I noticed a recurring pattern of coming alongside teenagers and young adults facing challenges at home, school, in relationships, and with their mental health. With experience as a music teacher, principal, stay-at-home mom, and church volunteer, I was given the opportunity to pursue a two-year lay counseling certification through our church. It was during this time that I had my "AHA" moments – I realized that intentionally supporting others through their pain and difficult circumstances was the area where God was calling me to serve! I became a lay counselor within our church as well as informally assisted others who sought my help. Over the years, I've counseled teenagers, young adults, and married couples. Additionally, I've had the privilege of speaking at women's retreats and conferences about our identity in Christ.
During the past three decades, my husband and I have led mission trips, both medical and non-medical, to various locations such as Saharawi refugee camps, Peru, the Bahamas, and Haiti. As a non-medical team member, my role involved praying with patients and fellow volunteers, creating devotional materials, and offering support to anyone in need. In 2017, I had the opportunity to be hired as a Member Care Chaplain with Samaritan's Purse on their international Disaster Assistance Relief Teams. |
In April-May of 2022, I was deployed to Ukraine as a chaplain, where I cared for team members and beneficiaries, and conducted training on psychological and spiritual first aid for team members and translators. Assisting individuals experiencing distress and trauma in any form is a calling I deeply value and approach with reverence, only proceeding as God allows and provides.
Two years ago, my husband and I sensed God's calling to relocate from Wisconsin, our home for three decades, to a city in Tennessee where we had no connections. God has proven faithful in providing us with an incredible church community, a wonderful neighborhood, and the time and space to seek His guidance. This brings me to the present, where I embark on my journey as a certified Christian Life Coach with specialized certifications in Mental Health Coaching and Spiritual Formation, combined with a background in Crisis and Trauma Care. If you have read this far, I want to express my gratitude to you! My desire is to be a vessel through which God can speak truth and life into the lives of my clients. I aim to equip them with practical tools to uncover their innate potential and embrace the calling God has for them, leading them toward wholeness and joy.
